Some issues, but really fast
I bought this to replace two amd HD6970s. It's much faster, and i can crank BF3 to full settings with nary an issue.
However, it has some pretty severe coil whine. I read up about the topic and a lot of videocards have this issue. The recommendation was to send it back if you wanted to, but chances were you'd just get another with whine back.
Coil whine is caused by electrical resonance on the little donut shaped rings with copper wire around them on the video card. Because the card performs at high frequencies, the copper and iron interact to make a squealing noise that is noticeable unless you're wearing headphones. It's unfortunate that this card has it, because other than the whine, it's completely silent.
The other issues are subjective but i've had tons of issues with my PC since installing it. I ended up doing a clean format onto an SSD and some of the problems have gone away, but the driver will still crash randomly during non 3d use...

I installed this card into a Dell XPS 8300 with a upgraded Corsair 750TX power supply i7 2600 and 8gb RAM. I play mostly MMO's and FPS games. I get over 200fps in WoW with maxed settings and over 100fps in SWTOR maxed settings both on a 1080p monitor with 144hz refresh rate. This card kicks butt. BF3 I average 55-75 fps with max settings on the same monitor and Crysis 2 it is 66-77 fps at max settings with Direct X 11 patch enabled.
