Great card for the price? No is a great card anyway you slice it!
I'll tell you I have gone through my fair share of graphic cards and have never been horribly disappointed but always felt that something was missing until this verison of the 660gtx. Not only is using some of the best technology but its overcolcked and superclocked which means there is no reason to mess with the setting on this card because its already perfect! The two fans on it do a great job of cooling and are really pretty silent. I have two of these cards in my case( sli ) and the performance of them is somewhere in between the 680gtx and 690gtx for a much less price. Another great fact is they are relatively low powered cards so if you have an older power supply (psu) it wont be a problem. I am coming from the evga 560ti 448 core classified edition and it really even as a single card the 660gtx blows it always! I have been gaming for hours straight and this card never slows down to heat or anything.
So if you have any doubt, don't. Just buy this card and heck buy...

For an upper-mainstream card, this thing is perfect. It plays Far Cry 3 at 2560x1440 at 50-60fps, and virtually every game I own plays as smooth as butter. It's quiet, doesn't consume a ton of power, doesn't generate too much heat, and even works very well in Linux! For me, it's currently the sweet spot of perfection for video cards.
