Its probably overkill but I love every bit of it, I havent had any issues AT ALL but I only had it for about 2 weeks or so. Only time will tell but 7 years, whats to worry about?

Edit (01/29/2013): Well, it's been a month and this power supply has been running like a champ. I'm going to bump my rating up back to 5 stars, on the strength of Amazons service. This is one of thee best power supplies you can get. And as of right now, it's on sale for $170. Not everything is going to work out as you would hope it should, but I am now confident that when I buy a product that is defective from Amazon, I know I'll have peace of mind due to their superb return service.
