More management capabilities than what I care to learn to use, but that's a good thing. If you have a user (or users) on your network that just can't seem to control his or her usage, the QoS features on this switch will allow you to deal with that by dialing that user's bandwidth back on a port by port basis. That feature alone is worth the increase in price over a "dumb" switch.
