ASUS Z87M-PLUS DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 Motherboard - I Pick This One
Solid board, but things are tight
I bought this board along with an i7-4770K and some G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1333 for my new desktop. It is blazing fast, stable, and overclocks nicely. It caught my eye while I was considering the Z78-PRO because I do not want to pay for the wireless.
The only problem I have with the board (and the reason I will probably be returning it) is that the graphics card slot is in the 1st position and my (ginormous) Noctua NH-D14's fan clips touch the back of the graphics card. Get the non-"M" version of the board if you want a big cooler.
