Customer review : Best Motherboard Ever
I upgraded my system a few months ago. I have had great success with Asus Motherboards in the past, so I decided to replace my old Core 2 duo system with an Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge system.
Since my choice of processor was limited in overclocking options, and I don't really get into overclocking anyway, I decided on Intel's H77 chipset, rather than the more popular Z77. The primary difference between these chipsets is that the overclocking ability in the Z77 is reduced in the H77.
I had a list of reasons to upgrade, and they included 6Gb/s Sata ports and Intel's SSD caching (Smart Response Technology).
The Intel features on this motherboard are awesome. I have used the SRT to do SSD caching, and I have also set up a RAID array and used the SSD caching on the RAID array.
