Fanless, easy to install, 2nd SATA connector for optical drive or 2nd hard-drive
One screw in the back opens both side panels. Comes w/ 1 laptop optical drive mounting bracket and 1 hard-drive mounting bracket. You have the option of putting a 2.5" SATA drive in the optical drive bay but it only comes with 1 hard-drive mounting bracket.

Bought 4GB of DDR3 204pin RAM for $20
Installed 80GB HD from a broken ASUS nettop.
I installed an old DVD burner from an external slim drive.
Installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

I bought this to replace my ASUS EEBOX from 2008 which used the old single core N270 Atom at 1.6Ghz (2.5watts).
This one uses the dual-core (hyper threaded) N525 Atom at 1.8Ghz (10watts).
Scores a 3 to 3.5 on Windows Experience rating utility.
The heatsink wraps around the entire back side. It gets warm to hot at the back top section but never very hot. I wonder how it'll fare in the Summer. I guess I can put a small fan on it since the sides are semi-exposed anyways. Sides are always cool to the...

I bought one of these to replace my itunes server for my apple airs. I wanted something that I could leave running 24 hours a day and consumed very little energy. This CPU does both plus no fan to wear out. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my frontroom, where I do most of my internet surfing and game playing.
What you should know. Size of componets are very important as these CPUs are very small. Here are the componets I put in both units I bought. All are sold on Amazon or Tigerdirct.
