FSP SLI and CrossFire Upgrade 450 Watt ATX Power Supply BOOSTER X5 - Review
Worked in HP 8200 Elite CMT, but had to buy Sata to Molex adapter seperately
I have a HP 8200 Elite Convertible Mini Tower that has a proprietary motherboard and power supply. Unfortunately, you can not buy power supply upgrades for these computers due to that, and even HP doesn't offer power supply upgrades to accommodate for graphics card which require their own dedicated power connection. This product was 1 of 3 5.25 CD/ROM bay power supplies I found that is still available.
The 1st was from a UK company (Logic Rapid, Product: LR-GPU-PSU-KIT) that had US models, but they were almost $200 after shipping (They did have great customer service though). [...] Upside to their product is it comes with a SATA to Molex adapter if you need one like I did.
The 2nd was the Visiontek Juicebox which is the cheapest I found, but it had some bad reviews[...]. I emailed their Customer Service department asking detailed questions and after a couple days, they finally replied with simply a picture of the back of the unit showing the connections. That was...
